As I write this, I am in South London and my husband is in Wales completing the delivery of the project he is working on. Restrictions mean that I can't go with him and work from our flat. So you're right, no one has been untouched by this pandemic.

But many young people have had a really tough time. Exams cancelled, end of school celebrations abandonned and university nothing like they thought it would be when they submitted their application.

I have just seen some research by the Youth Employment Group that 45% of young people have had very little or no access to career advice or work placements during the lockdown. Getting a job was hard enough without that. My organisation is going fully virtual, so I am already thinking about how we can reshape placements and particularly to make them accessible to the groups of young people that Rewise supports.

Perhaps we can join forces?

I will be following your journey closely and be here for moral support, but if there is anything that I or my company can do to help practically, I'd love to get involved.
